Our Coaches

Anthony Phillips is a professional coach who is focussed on growing and evolving his clients’ AFL football skills.

He works with talented players to develop their football game to successfully perform at the high levels the TAC Cup demands, as well as establish the mental resilience needed to become a sustainable and skilled AFL recruit.

In his role as a Level 3 AFL High Performance Coach and Level 2 in Athletics, Anthony has made it his mission to provide his clients with high quality, modern and innovative personal and team coaching. The outcome? Individuals and squads are given the tools and coaching to reach their highest goals in AFL Football.

His approach is focussed on the overall wellbeing of his clients, taking a holistic view of fitness, vitality, setting goals and developing action plans.

Anthony has an impeccable track record as a coach, as well as a long history and association with football that showcases his knowledge of the game, the structure, the skills and the mindset needed to succeed.

Anthony is currently a 16s Vic Metro coach, Head Coach of the Oakleigh Chargers 16s program, Aps 1st xviii coach of Caulfield Grammar School and Coach Mentor at Beverly Hills Junior Football Club. He has also worked in a range of roles with Hawthorn FC AFL, Sandringham FC VFL and the Victorian Tennis state team.

He worked extensively with first round pick and Morrish medallist Jack Higgins, who was drafted to Richmond in 2017, and coached and mentored two boys who were drafted to Collingwood and St Kilda in 2015/16.

Anthony is a committed and skilled coach who was won multiple awards for his coaching and community contributions.
